Diana Gail Porter of Newman passed away on Thursday (April 16, 2015) at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Gail was born on Aug. 19, 1947 in Tuscola, a daughter of Emerson and Ellene Elder Bender. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Bender.
She is survived by three daughters, Kelly Sego, Tamara Porter (David Smith) and Courtney Porter; a granddaughter; a brother, Robert (Gina) Bender; many loving cousins and a lifelong friend, Barbara Rothermel of Broadlands.
Gail was a lifelong resident of the East Central Illinois area. She was a nurse for over 20 years and loved her job, especially caring for the elderly.
