Audrey DeWitt, 71, of 201 S. Willard died at 9 p.m. on Feb. 26, 1986 at the Phoenix Baptist Hosital [sic] in Phoenix, Ariz.

She was born Dec. 19, 1914, in Keosauqua to Edward and Hattie Fraze Jamison [sic]. She married Harry C. DeWitt on Feb. 16, 1933. He died March 24, 1978.

She was a 1932 Keosauqua High School graduate and was a resident of Ottumwa most of her life. She operated a grocery store at Mary and Sheridan for several years. She was a member of the Mother Church of Christ Scientist.

She is survived by one son, Donald of Phoenix; one daughter, Nancy Pickrell of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marguerite Tuttle of Ottumwa and Edna Ruby of Moberly, Mo.

One son, DeWayne, preceeded [sic] her in death.

The service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Reece Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund in care of Florene DeBuhr, 3 Carter Court Lane, Ottumwa.
