Funeral Services for Matthew Lawrence Nix, age 14 of Pine Grove Community, Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Pine Grove Community, Picayune, MS, he was an A B Student at Picayune Junior High School. Matthew was a member of the Jr. High Band, High School Band, and the Jazz Band playing the saxophone. He was a member of the Student Council. Matthew was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, and the Youth Group at the church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Delores Nix, and his maternal grandparents, James and Rae Garrett.
