Hazel B. Stewart, 64 Oakland, died Sunday. Nov. 25, 2007, at her home.
Born on Jan. 28, 1943, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Myrtle L. (Upole) Bittner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harrison B. "Bum" Stewart II, in 1998; two sisters, Janet Duggins and Edith Bittner, and a brother Ernest Bittner.
She was member of the Oakland Church of the Nazarene. She was the owner of Hometown Cleaning Services, and she was also a former employee of the C&P Telephone Co., Oakland.
Hazel was a certified emergency medical technician (EMT). She was a 33 year member of the Southern Garrett Rescue Squad.
She is survived by one step-daughter, one step-son, five sisters, three brothers, two step-grandchildren, and eight step great-grandchildren
