Of Woodruff, SC and formerly of Horseheads, NY passed away peacefully on Friday morning, April 10, 2015 at the age of 61. Rick was born on January 31, 1954 in Elmira, NY. He graduated from Horseheads High School class of 1973. Rick was employed by LRC/Thomas and Betts as a supervisor for several years, and was a coach for several years for CYO Basketball and Horseheads Little League. Rick is pre-deceased by his beloved son, Tim Southard, wife, Susan Southard, mother, Florence Stuck and siblings Deanna and Jim.
Relatives and friends are invited to Rick's Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary Our Mother Church, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 9:30 AM. Rick will be laid to rest alongside his son in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family graciously accepts remembrances with donations in Rick's memory to St. Mary Our Mother CYO Basketball, 816 W. Broad St., Horseheads, NY 14845.
