Son of John C. & Frances M. (Barnhart) Gnass, husband of Marcelene & Inez, father of David, Gayle and Michael.
Mervyn K. Gnass was killed following a car accident in Cadillac, MI. Formerly of Royal Oak he was a quality control manager for Kysor's of Cadillac since 1947 and owned/operated the Boon General Store.
He is survived by his brothers Russell, Jack, Vernon and sister Marvel. Also surviving are his children, David, Michael and Gayle. He is predeceased by his second wife Inez (Batt), parents, sister, Ethel Moreen.
Master Mason - he achieved 11 degrees of the Masonic Temple - Sublime Master Elected and was the Worshipful Master of the Lodge. He was inducted into the Shriners in the fall of 1976.
