Rosalie Jean Westbrook of Channelview, Texas, age 77, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 in a Houston TX hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 11am in the Sterling White Chapel in Highlands, Texas.

Burial in the White Cemetery in Highlands, Texas.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Sterling White Chapel from 6pm-8pm.

Rosalie was born on April 21, 1930 on a farm near Stillwater, Oklahoma to George Graves and Ethel Mistletoe Wolford Graves.

She married Billy Joe Westbrook on June 18, 1948. She met and married, after a very short courship.


She attended public schools in Perkins, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Assembly Of God and she was an Election Poll Official for many years. She was very active in the Rotary club with the Rotary Anns.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Eugene Graves, Austin Graves and Loyal Graves, two sisters: Georgia Graves Nelson and Ester Graves Routh.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, B.J. Westbrook of Channelview, Texas, three daughters: Renee' Ydelle Westbrook, Marcelette Westbrook and Michelenne Westbrook, all of Channelview, a sister: Margaret Combs of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous nephews and nieces.
