Daughter of Winnie Ryan and Reg Sadler-Smith, mother of Franklin.

Words from her friend Deb:

Much has happened the last few days...some happy and one particularly sad for me. On Friday morning the ashes of my dear friend Carolyn Hurst arrived from England. I was honored that her family had recently asked if, in their absence, I would handle the details to have her ashes placed beside her dear son, Franklin.I chose to make the journey to the cemetery alone, and as I drove there so many lovely thoughts of Carolyn came to mind. To me she was a loving, caring friend...Someone I could always count on to brighten my day. Together we shared laughs as well as tears. Carolyn had many friends and they came from all walks of life...She never knew a stranger and there was never anyone she wouldn't bend over backwards to help. Everyone who knew this beautiful woman was blessed with a forever friend....Carolyn loved you and you knew it!Tonight I want to say... one last time...rest in peace my dear dear friend...until we meet again...

Carolyn was my Mother Dylis Johnson first cousin, Winnie's daughter. Mother never got over missing her family, even after living in Texas 54 years.
