Mr. Crockett was employed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a communication officer until retiring. After his retirement, he did radio and television repairs.
Born in Weston, Mo., on Sept. 10, 1905, he was a resident of St. Joseph since 1956.
He was a graduate of the Weston high school, and was a member of the Church of God and American Radio Relay League.
Mr. Crockett was preceded in death by his parents, Ethelbert, and Bertha D.; and four brothers, Orville H., Wilbur S., James R. and John.
Surviving: a brother, George, St. Joseph; and two sisters, Ina C. Baker and Norma L. Kerns, both of Leavenworth, Kan.
Private family graveside service and burial: at a later date, in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph.
