Mrs. Edith Bartlett, 90, of 1824 S. Mill, died last night after an illness of one month. She was born in Boone county, Indiana, and had lived here 87 years. Her husband, John Bartlett, died in 1929.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bell Capp, 319 N. 19th, Mrs. Virginia D. Mulford, of the home, and Mrs. Mattie C. Bowen, Milledgeville, Ga,: three sons, Dean C. Bartlett, Mayfair hotel, Kansas City, Mo., Alfred I. Bartlett, Jerico Springs, Mo., and Francis M. Bartlett, Topeka, Kans.; a brother, Levi L. Schenck, Topeka, and 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The body was taken today from the Warnick-Eads chapel to the Parker funeral home, Topeka, where funeral arrangements are pending.
