Jim E. Hart, 68, of Chillicothe, died 12:26 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

He was born August 18, 1946, in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Harold E. and Angela S. Stechschulte Hart. On June 26, 1970, he married the former Linda L. Radcliff who survives.

Alson surviving are a daughter, Jodi Hart, of Chillicothe; a son James (Nora) Hart, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Daylen Ferguson and Taylor Soummers; a brother, Jay (Shan) Hart, of Findlay, OH; sisters, Shirley Condron, of Findlay and Nita (Dave) Rider, of Arlington, OH; brothers-in-law, Kerry (Brenda) Stewart; sister-in-law, Tara Carpenter, all of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Darren Radcliff.

Jim retired from Flow Masters and was formerly a firefighter for the Chillicothe Fire Department for 16 years. He was a United States Coast Guard Veteran.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jack Norman officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5-7 p.m. Monday.
