Woodrow Niswander
Woodrow Wilson Niswander, 87, of Jacksonville, died July 15, 2005, at his home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville with the Rev. Rick Moser officiating. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery.
He retired as a first sergeant from the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a member of the Northwoods United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Tate Niswander, of the home; a brother, Walter Niswander, of Honorville, Ala.; and a sister, Helen Farris of Muncie, Ind.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northwoods United Methodist Church, Touch of Love, 1528 Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
