Georgia (aka Sauce or Granny) passed peacefully at Denison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She donated her body to UTSW Medical School, no funeral, no rosary per her request. There will be a celebration of life with her family in June.
Georgia is now with: her beloved Milton 'Smitty' Herman Schmidt, parents: Joseph and Lena Ciaccio, siblings: Carmen Hood, Josephine Hutchman, brothers: Phil, George, Nick, and Bonnie: children: Pamela Ruby and Keith Schmidt.
Georgia is survived by: brother; Sam Ciaccio; children; Bob Ruby, Larry and Terry Schmidt, Patti Schmidt, Jeff Schmidt, Joey and Ginger Schmidt; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and their families; and many, many loving friends.
Georgia found her joy from Smitty, family, friends, and all at St. Patrick's in Denison, Texas. She loved square dancing with The Texoma Squares, animals on The Farm, Dominoes, and going to Choctaw Casino playing slots!
