Eric Allen Welsh III, 24, of Deerfield died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in an automobile accident along with his brother Branden L. Woodford. Eric was born April 26, 1990 in Canton, Ohio to Eric A. Welsh, Jr. and Kristy Marie Keller. Eric was a 2008 graduate of Southeast High School and completed the culinary arts program at Maplewood Career Center. He was a member of the Sebring American Legion, had been a cook at Ben's Restaurant in Berlin Center and was currently working for Turfco Landscaping in Suffield.

Survivors include his mother Kristy and father Matt Woodford, father Eric A. Welsh, Jr. of Colorado, sister Kelly Welsh of Deerfield, brother Nick Woodford of Deerfield, grandparents Mildred Keller of Deerfield, Gail Welsh of Alliance and Danny Woodford of Deerfield, aunts Angela Ward and Stacey (Scott) Breedon and uncle Brian Welsh and girlfriend Alexus Cottrell. He was preceded in death by grandparents William Keller, Eric A. Welsh, Sr., Mervin J. Hull and Carol Woodford and brother Collin Woodford.

Calling hours will be from 2 PM to 7 PM Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, April 20, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Jody Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Deerfield Cemetery.
