After college graduation she taught school 2 years at Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Courtland, MN, and then one year at Concord Lutheran School in St. Louis, MO. On August 9, 1959 she married her college sweetheart, Mr. Otto, from Concordia, MN, and accompanied him that fall on his seminary vicarage year to Chattanooga, TN where she taught a year in First Lutheran School before returning to Concord Lutheran School- St. Louis in 1960 while her husband completed his pastoral training at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Upon his graduation in 1961, Audrey made her home with her husband in 4 different parishes: New Orleans, LA (1961-1968), Gary, IN (1968-1975), Niagara Falls, NY (1975-1983), and Nashville, TN (1983 until the present).
