1850 Census: Possibly, Johseph and Justine Bechrr, with children Ellen and Samuel. The husband was a cigar maker.
1860 Census: their two daughters were living with Justina's parents, Samuel B. and Mary M. Brownwell Petree.
Per the Ohio Repository newspaper, Canton Ohio, John Pecher forfeited his lands in 1862 for failure to pay taxes.
This may explain why Justina's headstone/grave has not been found yet, or added to findagrave. Her husband may have been too broke to buy one.
If anyone finds the grave of Justina Petree Pecher, please contact me.
