Survivors include four brothers, Dr. Lavern Powers of Hutchinson,Ks,Grant Powers,Jr. of Spearville,Ks, Richard Powers of Greenwood,Mo., Galen Powers of Sanford,N.C.;four sisters, Geraldine Dohrmann of Ensign,Ks, Bernice Logan of Troy, Mo., Gerva Powers of Kiowa, Norma Ross of League City,
Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Virgil and Clarence Powers and one sister, Genevie Cayton.
Memorial Service was held at Victory Life Fellowhship Church with Pastor Carl Nance presiding.
Burial with military rites by Julius F. Troehmel VFW Post 269 was held at Bucklin Cemetery.
