Mr. Lawrence Barry is seriously ill at the home of his son, Mr. W. H. Barry on Erie avenue. Mr. Barry has for some time been suffering from a partial stroke of paralysis on his left side but was able to be up and around until last Saturday night, when he was attacked by another stroke on the right side, which has left him in the condition above stated. Poor hopes are entertained for his recovery.

Lawrence died Feb. 18, 1899.

Death of An Old Citizen
Mr. Lawrence Barry, one of the oldest citizens of Farrandsville, died Saturday evening at 7 o'clock aged 74 years, 6 months, and 15 days, of the infirmities of old age. He is survived by a wife, five sons, and two daughters: Joseph, William, and Andrew, of Renovo; Patrick of Wilcox; Michael of Williamsport; Mrs. Alice Tonery, and Miss Kate, of Farrandsville.
Deceased had the respect of all who knew him. He was the friend of the poor and a good citizen. The funeral was held yesterday from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, in this city. Solemn high mass was celebrated by the pastor, Rev. Frances McCarthy. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.

Lawrence Barry, one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of Farrandsville, died Saturday evening of the infirmities of age. He was 74 years, 6 months, and 5 days old. He is survived by his wife and the following named children: William, Joseph and Andrew, of Renovo; Michael, of Williamsport; Patrick of Wilcox; Mrs. Alice Tonery and Miss Kate, of Farrandsville.
