Mrs. E. M. Erikson, 84, of 2001 E. Milwaukee St., life resident of Janesville, died this morning in a local nursing home. She has been ill four months. The former Myrtle Dewey, daughter of Franklin M. and Elizabeth Rutter Dewey was born, March 30, 1882. She was married to E. M. Erikson in the home of her parents, June 6, 1906. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1956. Mr. Erikson, president of Rock River Cotton Co., died March 1, 1963. Mrs. Erikson was a member of First Baptist Church and Janesville Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are one son, Donald M. Erikson, Janesville; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Sherwood, Marshfield; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
