Ryan Travis Daniel

Ryan Travis Daniel "Duck", 24, of Concord, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Tammy Lynn (Daniel) Fore and Edward Milton Fore of Concord.

Born July 15, 1988, in Lynchburg, he graduated from Rustburg High School in 2006. He was employed at Mail America, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an avid Virginia Tech Hokies fan, and enjoyed many sports, including, hunting, fishing and NASCAR, his favorite driver was Kevin Harvick. Travis, loved people, he never met a stranger, and loved hanging out with his family and friends.

Survivors also include his brother, Jeffrey Lynn Guill Jr. of Lynchburg; maternal grandparents, Mary M. Jones of Madison Heights and Richard E. and Rosa M. Daniel of Madison Heights; paternal grandparents, Samuel E. and Adrith K. Fore of Gladys; and great-grandmother, Mrs. Annie M. King of Nathalie; three uncles, Anthony L. Daniel and wife, Denell, and their three children, Shane, Josh, and Hailey, of Fresno, Calif.; and Richard L. Daniel and wife, Tracy, and their three children, Brittany, Amanda, and Faith, of Madison Heights; and Shannon E. Daniel and wife, Crystal, and their children, McKenzie, Mitchell, Ryleigh and Brennan, of Madison Heights; two aunts, Erica Daniel Haskins and fiance, Brad Swafford and their children, Kevin, Atlanta, Nathan and Blake, of Madison Heights; and Kishauna Daniel of Madison Heights; and a multitude of so many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church in Concord. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Wintergreen Fire and Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 711, Nellysford, VA 22958, or to your local fire and rescue squad. The family invites everyone to visit his Facebook page, to see how wonderful, energetic and loving he is, Travis "Duck" Daniel.
