Mrs. Carolyn Brannon Rash, age 66, of 118 S. 5th Street, Lockhart, widow of Jack Lee Rash, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Rash was born in Union, SC on August 29, 1948 a daughter of the late Grady Brannon, Sr. and Nellie Rochester Brannon. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School. Mrs. Rash was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class Mothers 1. She was formerly employed with Jordan’s Hot Spot as Manager.

Surviving are a daughter, Tess Wilbanks and husband Lonnie of Union; three sisters, Tincy Inman of Union, Guynita Brannon of Lockhart, and Brenda Petty and husband Ralph of Louisiana; and one granddaughter, Hope Wilbanks of Union. She was predeceased by five brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Brian Bishop and Rev. Dr. Tommy Bryson, Jr. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Lee Brannon, Chris Brannon, Dale Inman, Rodney Inman, Rodney “Bubba” Inman, Jr. and Daryl Brannon.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church, 126 Askew Circle, Union, SC 29379.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Tess and Lonnie Wilbanks, 294 Askew Circle, Union, SC 29379.
