It is interesting to note that Sallie Elizabeth is the only child among all her brothers and sisters to live beyond the age of 25--and she lived to be at least 97! Her death certif. shows her birth year as 1844; however, the 1850 census shows her being only 1 year old at the time, which coincides with her grave marker which gives her birth year as 1849. Sallie married Poulson James Miles 4 Dec 1866. Research shows that Poulson and Sallie were second cousins (common ancestor: Henry Miles Sr., 1728-1790). Actually they were also fourth cousins (common ancestor: Lazarus Maddux, c. 1656-1716), and even fifth cousins! (common ancestor: Charles Hall, 1635-1695).
