Olean "Oly" (Palillo) Gullo, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at N.F. Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Savuto, Province of Cosenza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Fortunato and Pasqualina (Senatore) Palillo.
On February 25, 1936, she married Raymond Gullo in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Gullo predeceased her on September 13, 1996.
Oly was employed for thirty years as a cashier at Tops Market in Niagara Falls, NY, and retired in the 1980's. She enjoyed homemaking, particularly cooking.
Mrs. Gullo is survived by one son, Joseph L. Gullo; and was predeceased by three brothers, Jack (late Carmella) Palillo, Joseph (late Nellie) Palillo, Valentino (late Esther) Palillo; and two sisters, Genevieve (late Eugene) Pucci, Vincenza (late Antonio) Gagliardi.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Rose Scibetta of Niagara Falls, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00-11:30 am at the M.J.Colucci & Son Niagara Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 11:30 am with Rev. Duane R. Klizzek officiating.
Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
