Funeral Mass for Cynthia Banchetti McDonald, 58, of Leland will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, Leland. She died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson after an extended illness. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters and sister.

Cindy was a graduate of Leland Academy, as well as Mississippi Delta Community College. She served the community as a Registered Nurse and nursing supervisor in home health for over 30 years. She was also a life long member of St. James Catholic Church.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Jean Banchetti, as well as her brother, Michael Banchetti.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Tommy) Nichols of Brandon, Blair (Ben) Harper of Greenwood, and Abbi McDonald of Oxford, one sister, Vicki (Ronnie) Fulcher of Yazoo City, as well as her former husband, Martin McDonald of Greenville. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren Adelette, Reed, and Colton Nichols, and Braxton and Caroline Harper. Cindy also had several nieces and nephews. She was well-loved, and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in her honor to St. James Catholic Church or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
