Marjorie L. Arp, 91, of Hannibal, Missouri and formerly of Palmyra, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at Willow Care Center in Hannibal.
She was born November 24, 1923 north of Palmyra, Missouri to William J. and Mary H. Gross Drebes.
Marjorie married Raymond W. Arp November 13, 1970 in Jackson, Mo.. He preceded her in death January 30, 1990.
She is survived by children; Willis (Debbie) Schluckebier of Columbia, Mo.; Mary (Terry) Fitch of Hannibal; Wayne (Iris) Schluckebier of Monroe City, Mo.; grandchildren; Kerry Fitch, Tonya Ash, Scott, Tim, Steve, Mike, and Rheo Schluckebier, brother, Bill (Mary) Drebes of Monroe City, Mo.; and sister-in-law, Vivian Drebes Donelson of Palmyra.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Austin Schluckebier and Raymond W. Arp, and a brother, Norman Drebes.
Marjorie had worked at Motorola in Quincy for several years and then worked in the kitchen at St. Thomas Seminary in Hannibal. She was a 1941 graduate of Monroe City High School, was a member of Piecemakers Quilt Guild in Hannibal and had made many quilts over the years. She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Palmyra.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, Missouri.
