Former Resident Dies in Hospital

Robert W. Allman, 55, Los Angeles, died in a local hospital this morning. He is a former resident of Rapid City, who went to Los Angeles in 1943. He was married in Rapid City to Mrs. Clara Snyder in 1930.

He had returned here about two weeks ago and was visiting a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ivan Prey, in Hill City. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion.

Allman is survived by his widow; and the following stepchildren, Mrs. Prey; Allen Snyder, Los Angeles; Orville Snyder, Wilkins, Minn., and Delbert Snyder, Klamath Falls, Ore. He is also survived by three brothers, Clarence and Frank Allman, Riverside, Calif., and Charles Allman, Stewart, Neb.

Funeral arrangements, under direction of the Hobart mortuary, have not been completed.

Allman Funeral

Funeral services for R. W. Allman, 55, former Rapid City man who died in Los Angeles, Calif., Saturday, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the Hobart Funeral home. Rev. Rew Walz will conduct the service and American Legion rites will be held at the Mountain View cemetery.
