Michelle L. Vogel, of 18622 County Trk. Highway X, Kiel, died Dec. 21, 1999 at her home.
She is the former Michelle Burg born July 1, 1968 in Chilton, daughter of William and Karen Dorn Burg. Michelle was a 1986 graduate of Kiel High School and received her degree from UW Stevens Point in 1990 in Elementary Education. She was currently teaching 8th grand in Kimberly at J.R. Gerrits Middle School. Michelle had a great love for her students. On Dec. 30, 1997 she married Peter Vogel in the Bahamas. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel.
Survivors include her husband, Peter, Kiel; her parents, William and Karen Burg, Kiel one sister, Jackie (David) Charles, Elkhart Lake; one brother, Randy Burg and fiancé, Jamie Sosinsky, Kiel. She is further survived by her grandfather, Charles Burg, Charlesburg, numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Monica and Francis Dorn and Myra Burg.
Friends may gather at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel when a memorial service will take place. Burial will be in Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
