James Edward Pedigo, Sr., 84, of Westmoreland, TN died at 7:33 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Westmoreland Care & Rehab. The Tompkinsville, KY native was a retired concrete mason and farmer He was a son of the late William Pedigo and Vira Ester York Shockley.



He is survived by 2 sons: James Edward Pedigo, Jr., Indianapolis, IN and Ricky Lee Pedigo, Columbus, OH;

1 daughter: Rosie Irene Hood, Indianapolis, IN;

A special niece: Lucille Blankenship and husband, Monroe, Adolphus, KY;

9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren;

Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jimmy Lee Pedigo and Stanley Lee Pedigo; 5 brothers: Jessie Pedigo and Isaac Pedigo; Earl Shockley, Stanley Shockley and Dewey Shockley; 4 sisters: Dora Bell Pedigo, Ethel Mae Pedigo, Aline Shockley and Pauline Shockley.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Woody Alderson officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Friday.
