Bob grew up in the Trenton area, where he loved to roller skate. Later, he served in the Korean War before marring Gladys V. Campbell. Bob and Gladys made their home in Holden where they were blessed with five children. Bob and Gladys had many business interests including operating his three mobile home parks, selling mobile homes, snowmobiles, truck caps, and ten speed bicycles; Bob was born to be a salesman. Bob and Gladys enjoyed spending their winters in Florida and their summers at Green Lake with their children and grandchildren. He loved making new friends everywhere he went; Bob was never one to sit still and always there to lend a helping hand.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife, Gladys; son, Robert Jr.; brothers, Harold Jr., Willis; and his sister, Olive. He is survived by son, Jeffery and wife, Cheryl of Dedham; daughter, Mary and husband, Maury of Hermon; daughter, Cheryl and husband, Russell of Brewer; son, Walter and wife, Marcela of Levant; 11 loving grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
