Cleon worked for Geneva Steel until he retired. He became a father to Christine Brown and Phillip Cleon Brown and was an amazing dad who taught his children the love of hard work, honesty, the value of a dollar, camping, fishing, hunting, and to finish what they started. He loved the great outdoors and working in the yard and garden. He also loved to paint, especially when he had the opportunity to paint his great-grandchildren's nurseries. On September 20, 1989, his beloved Verus passed away. His children and grandchildren helped him get through that lonely time. Cleon's love for his grandchildren from the time they were born until his death was openly shown through hugs, kisses, fishing, visiting, teaching moments, and spending as much time with them as he possibly could. On December 18, 1994, he married Mary Jo Robinson in Orem, Utah. Children and grandchildren were all there to support him. For the last 18 years they have resided in Lindon, Utah. He is an unforgettable man who will be forever missed. His teachings and traditions will be carried on in honor of him.
