Steve grew up in Isabella County Michigan, attending St. Joseph the Worker Catholic School and graduating from Beal City High School in 1974.

After graduating, Steve moved to Evanston, Wyoming where he started his family and career. He found work in the “Oil and Gas Industry”. Steve’s enthusiasm for accepting a challenge along with his dedication and problem solving ability allowed him to excel. He joined Chevron Corporation in 1978, and worked there until his passing, accumulating 37 years of seniority.

Steve was an avid hunter and conservationist. He spent many hours in the vast wilderness of Wyoming and grew to appreciate all of God’s glorious creations. Steve also excelled in wood-working, creating many beautiful works of art and holding patents on several scroll saw patterns. God gave Steve many talents and he used those to the best of his ability. He was a great listener, son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Steve was a devout Christian and honored the Lord in all he did. He had a gentle, compassionate nature about him and was willing to help anyone in need.
