Antonia was the daughter of Joseph Schmidt and Nothberga (Walburga) Heinrich. She was born 13 June 1849 and baptised 14th in Messendorf, Bohemia (now Mezina). She immigrated with son Alois Richard Schmidt and her mother joined her in Minnesota, her father having died in Mezina in 1878. Antonetta later married John Peschke, widower. They had two daughters Augusta Odelia Peschke (Burns) and Emma Josephine Peschke (Justen). Her stone no longer remains; burial information from church records.
