Doris B. Johnson, 93, a Lewiston homemaker, died of causes related to age Saturday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1898, to Owen Baumand Etta (Richmond) Baum in Provo, Utah. She grew up and attended school in Provo. She married Dezell Johnson on June 2, 1919, in Provo.

They moved to Rigby, Idaho, in 1936, and in 1942 they moved to Saint Maries, Idaho. Mr. Johnson died in 1962. She moved to Lewiston in 1983.

She had been a member of the St. Maries Rebekah Lodge since 1943 and served as Noble Grand for two years. She also was a member of the Saint Maries Eagles Auxiliary, the Clarkston Moose Auxiliary, and the Benewah County Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the World War I Auxiliary at St. Maries and served as president for two years.

A daughter, Marcelle McLaughlin, died previously.

The funeral is scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Yates-Hodge Funeral Home at St. Maries with Bishop Rex Smith and Rebekah Lodge officers officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saint Maries.
