Ralph Dutton departed this life on Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Lindsay Manor Nursing Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Ralph was born on April 27, 1928 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Jim and Lela Dutton. He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. He married Betty Mize on September 8, 1992 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and returned to Lindsay where he lived until his death. Ralph was retired having worked in several occupations, one of which was Auctioneer. He loved fishing and camping. His presence will be missed by his family and friends.
Ralph is survived by six daughters: Betty Ann McElroy and Sandra Kay Price Shelton, both of Arizona, Debbie Dutton and Claudia Marlena Dutton, both of California, Leona Sue Robinson of Moore, Oklahoma and Gail Evans of Chickasha, Oklahoma and one brother, James Robert Dutton of Lindsay, Oklahoma. He also is survived by his grandchildren: David Dutton and wife Julie of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Kizzy Dutton of Missouri, April Hunt of North Carolina, Travis Grissam of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Regina McKelroy Hughes and Clyde Hursh, both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Wilma Carnell of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Alanda Patterson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Holly Dutton of Arizona and Randy Robinson and Candice Robinson of Moore, Oklahoma as well as many nieces, nephews and many great-grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mize Dutton, his parents, Jim and Lela Dutton, one son, Ralph Dutton Jr., two brothers, Sam Dutton and Randall Dutton and one sister, Barbara Bray.
Funeral services for Mr. Dutton are set for two o’clock p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Erin Springs Baptist Church, located on Highway 76 South of Lindsay, Oklahoma, with Bro. Bill Love officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma with military honors by the American Legion Ball-Smith Post 23 of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma
