Perry W. Ward age 87 of Amherst, WI passed away on Monday October 22, 2012. Perry was born on November 4, 1924 the son of Victor and Flossie (Fox) Ward. Perry married Eugenia Lepak on November 4, 1944 in Custer, WI, they were married almost 68 years. Perry ran the homesteaded family farm in the Amherst area for most of his life, and was an avid hunter, horseman, enjoyed square dancing, and was known for his artistic talents including wood carving.

Perry is survived by his wife Eugenia Ward of Amherst, WI; one daughter Sandy (Ray) Boileau of Weyauwega, WI; two sons Robert (Bernadette) Ward of Ulysses, KS and Thomas (Paula) Ward of Manitowoc, WI; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother-in-law Melvin (Katie) Lepak of Amherst, WI; one sister-in-law Daisy Konkol of Amherst, WI, many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Flossie Ward; one daughter Patricia Urfer; three brothers; and three sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 27, 2012 at 12 Noon at the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Father Jude Dioka will officiate, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
