Joy Batchelor Goodman, 65, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Wake Med.
She was born July 14, 1949 in Nash County to the late William Askew Batchelor and Melba Cooper Batchelor.
Joy retired from the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Joy is survived by her husband, Larry Russell Goodman; daughter, Tracy Goodman Rosenberg husband, Adam; grandchildren: Trevor Stevens and Jacob Huffman; brothers: Tony Batchelor and wife, Ginger, Tim Batchelor and wife, Nancy.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at New Knightdale Baptist Church Cemetery, Mailman Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's North Carolina, Inc., 1305 Navaho Drive, #101, Raleigh, NC 27609.
