He was a construction worker and a member of the Asbestos Workers Union #51 and attended New Hope Baptist Church.
Joe is survived by his mother Mary Ellen Neal of Harrodsburg, two daughters Mary Penn & Tracy Jean McMillan, both of Georgetown, four sisters Joyce (Tony) Bast of Harrodsburg, Patricia (Randy)Scholtz, of Danville, Sandra (Ron Puckett) Terhune of Salvisa, and Janie Ellen (Ben) Stratton of Lawrenceburg, and a number of Nieces and nephews and 5 grandchildren, and his caregiver Mrs. Roy Allen (Thelma) Neal.
Joe was preceded in death by his brothers Luther Gene,Thomas Glen, and Donald Lee Neal.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday April 6, 2015, at 1 P.M. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, By Tim Brown, Burial to follow at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 10:a.m. - 1 P.M. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel till the time of the service.
