CLARK - May Fern, 88, Somerset County, died April 4, 2015, at Amber Hills. Born Sept. 14, 1926, in Rockingham, Somerset County, daughter of the late Harry Tomlinson and Lottie Grace (Hoffman) Sipe. Preceded in death by five brothers; two sisters; husband, Valjean G. Clark, whom she marred Feb. 17, 1945; and daughter, Connie (Clark) Ensley. Survived by following children, Sandra Rogers; Sheila, wife of Charles Berger; and Ronald, married to the former Rosalyn Giannone, all of Davidsville; and Patricia, wife of Greg Johns, Somerset; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren; also two great- great-granddaughters. Also survived by brother, Roy Sipe. May was proud of her violin playing skills, and at one time she played first chair violinist with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. Member of Johnstown High School, Class of 1944, and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Special thanks to Amber Hills staff for their excellent care of our mother. Also a special thanks to Grane Hospice. May will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Bishop Robin Quillon, presiding.
