He was born March 4, 1956, in Manitowoc, son of Alice Wheeler Becker and the late Allen Becker. Gerard attended Roncalli High School of Manitowoc and then served in the United States Navy. He was presently employed by Joe Daniels Construction Company of Madison, Wis.
Survivors include his mother, Alice Becker, Manitowoc; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Ann and Joel O'Connell, Two Rivers, Doloros and Donald Baryenbruch, Two Rivers, Susan and Thomas Czerwinski, Maryland, Eileen and Chris Thompson, Mississippi, Ruth and William VanDeHey, Big Bend, Wis., Mary Jo Becker and her friend, Ken Dresang, Whitelaw, Wis.; one brother, Jeffrey Becker, Milwaukee; one brother-in-law, Gerald Peotter, Seymour and Lisa E. Danforth, Stoughton, Gerard's special friend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Becker, two sisters, Adele and Mary Rose and one brother, Gerald Paul Becker.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and at St. Paul's Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at 10 a.m. A rosary service will be held at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home followed by a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
