ROSE ARETZ
Mrs. Rose Aretz, 81, of 909 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Curch, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Aretz, nee Rose Gehling, was born Sept. 11, 1888, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Augustine and Julia Meyer Gehling. She was married to George Aretz Oct. 22, 1912, at Minneapolis, Minn. Her husband preceded her in death Feb. 8, 1960.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas of Conneticut and Kenneth of Nevada, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday, where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
