Miss Ethel Airley, 74, night nurse at the County Mental Hospital for many years, died Friday at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 o’clock at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Airley was born in England in 1878 and came to the United States with her parents at an early age. She had been at the County Mental Hospital for the past 24 years. She was a member of the Catholic Woman’s Club of Manitowoc.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Margaret Checkie of Shawano, formerly of Manitowoc; two nephews and a niece.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m., Sunday where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
