Dorothy was a devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. She was an inspector at Fruit of the Loom Martin Mills for 25 years. Dorothy loved playing Bouree' and going to the casino. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and cooking for her family and friends. Dorothy never missed an event, big or small and everything in between, for anyone. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Robert "Bobby" Savoy (Janina) and Ralph "Bubba" Savoy (Dean); daughter, Regina Robicheaux (Jude); grandchildren, Tonya Mayo (Mike), Melodie Talley (Kevin), Tara Grossie (Damian), Jeremy Savoy, Robert "Robbie" Savoy, Jr. (Amy), Haley Dupuis (Dalton), Tina Guidroz (Mike), Ryan Robicheaux (Danielle), Tessie LeBlanc (Shane) and Kayan Broussard (Quaid); great-grandchildren, Brian Tanner, Brent Tanner, Shelbi Talley, Sydni Ellis (Bailey), Noah Talley, Eliott Talley, Dusty Savoy, Nenah Savoy, Andrew Savoy, Jordi Devillier, Kohl Dupuis, Kami Dupuis, Rhylan Robicheaux, Rheese Robicheaux, Rhayli Robicheaux, Sylvi Broussard, Jemma Guidroz, Reeve Guidroz, Sandon LeBlanc and Samantha LeBlanc; three great-great grandchildren, Holden Tanner, Paizlee Savoy and Rori Prince.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Savoy; parents, Alcide Barras and Pella Daigle Barras; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert P. Barras (Virginia Ruth) and Donald Barras (Gladys Coy); sister and brother-in-law, Julia Marie Hebert (Clayvon).
