Peter J. INZANA, 90, of Genesee, PA, died Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA.

Born March 11, 1925, in Brockway, PA, he was the son of Peter and Lena Petruzzi Inzana. On January 30, 1974, in Hagerstown, MD, he married the former Jeannette M. Dunham, who survives.

WWII Veteran

A World War II Veteran, he served honorably with the US Army in the European Theatre. After the war, he enlisted in the US Air Force.

He was employed as a machinist for 60 years.

Pete was a member of Morrison B. Hayes American Legion Post #702 in Wellsville and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Wellsville. Active in the community, he organized Memorial Day ceremonies in Genesee Cemetery for many years, coached junior bowlers for 21 years and Babe Ruth baseball for 10 years.

He bowled in leagues for over 50 years with several 300 games.

Surviving besides his wife of 41 years, Jeannette, are: five sons, Pete (Brenda) Inzana and David (Janice) Inzana, both of Brockway, Charles (Kimberly) Inzana, Jon (Crystal) Inzana, and Chris (Sarah) Inzana, all of Genesee; 23 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Dunham of Genesee; four brothers, Anthony (Laverne) Inzana, Sr., Ernest (Lilo) Inzana, Sr., Ronald (Nettie) Inzana, Sr., and Lugene (Carol) Inzana; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Francis “Babe” Inzana; and a sister, Joyce Marie Kline.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Pastor Stephen B. Richard will officiate. Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by members of American Legion Post #702.

Due to allergies, the family respectfully requests that flowers not be sent.
