Mrs. Mendonca was a native of Warsaw, Ill. She lived in Turlock 59 years, and previously lived in Livingston and Hughson.
She was a bookkeeper.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Widows Club, and enjoyed cooking, knitting and bingo.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Campbell of Delhi, Beverly Brown and Karen Budd, both of Hilmar, Michael James Mendonca of Denair and Cynthia Aragon of Fresno; brother, A.J. Schmuck of Florissant, Mo.; sisters, Dorothy Lema of Hughson, Lucille Nimitz of Turlock, and Iona Schmuck and Florence Ruffcorn, both of Warsaw; and 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Freitas Mendonca; and one brother.
