Robert D. “Bob” Stouder, age 83, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Hospice House of Elkhart County. Bob was born July 8, 1931 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Menford and Myrtle (Ganger) Stouder. On May 1, 1954, he married Annette Olson. They celebrated 60 years of marriage. Annette survives, along with their children Cynthia Fry of Elkhart, Lisa (Jim) Goodwin of Edwardsburg, Marcia (Matt) Kunz of Schenectady, NY, Deanna (Leon) Webb of Constantine, Tonia Stouder of Elkhart and Timothy Stouder. Also surviving is his sister Janice (Terry) Steinke of Florida, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his son Keith Ronald Stouder and his siblings Arden “Art”, Donald, Marlin, Jack, Bonnie, Sharon and Sue. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Friday, April 3, 2015 at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Osceola United Methodist Church, with interment and Military honors to follow at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart. Bob was employed for many years in the maintenance department at Adams & Westlake (Adlake) until his retirement in 1997. He was a skilled welder and pipefitter. He enjoyed building things with his welding skills, farming, and going to antique tractor shows.
