Steven will lie in state at the funeral home where family will receive visitors 6-9 PM Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-9PM Wednesday. Burial will be in the Crestwood Cemetery in Davison . Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Of Leader Dogs For The Blind. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Steven was born in Flint Michigan on November 22 1963, the son of Gary D, and Greta (Hopkins) Gilliam. He attended Davison High School then enlisted in the Army in 1980. Steven served his Country with Signal Corp.; serving two tours in Germany.
Steven was a proud father of two sons that survived him: Joseph Gilliam of Flint and Richard Gilliam of Mt. Morris. he is also survived by his parents Gary and Greta Gilliam of Davison, brother Rick Gilliam and Marilyn Martin of Flint. Mike and(Cheryl)Gilliam of Flint, Dan(Michele) Gilliam of Mt Morris, sisters Barbara Gilliam of California, Beth(Larry) Keel of Clio; 5 neices: 4 nephews; 1 great-neice; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends included his nurses and caregivers at the V.A. Hospital The family wishes to say a special Thankyou to "SIS", Judy, " MOther" Fern, David, Lonnie, Debbie, Brenda, and others too numerous to mention.
