Greta A.(Hopkins) Gilliam age 72 passed away Friday August 19, 2005 at her residence. A funeral service will be held 1:PM Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at the Allen Funeral Home 9136 Daivson Rd. Davison. Pastor David Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 PM Sunday 2-4 and 6-9 Monday and 12 PM Tuesday until the time of service. Greta was born in Birch Run, Mi. on August 27 1932, daughter of the late Joseph and Rosetta "Mae" Hopkins. She resided in Davison Mi., most of her life. Greta Hopkins married Gary Gilliam on December 8, 1951. Her family was her life. Greta enjoyed playing hymns on the organ. She was a loving wife, Mother, grandmother, and beat friend. Greta is survived by her husband Gary; children, Richard, Michael,(Cheryl), Bethany (Larry )Keel, Daniel (Michele); 11 grandchildren; a greatgrandaughter; 2 sisters; one brother, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Steven; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. The family wishes to say a special thankyou to the staff of Davison DaVita Dialysis Center for their care and kindness.
