Christine C. Isham Wolfe, 72, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, in Lamar, OK. Christine was born in Holdenville OK Aug 12, 1933 to Cheparney & Martha (Bruner) Davis. She attended Eufaula Boarding School, graduated Holdenville High School in 1952, attended Haskell Institute, Lawrence, KS and earned an associates degree from Seminole Jr. College. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Dustin OK, and the North American Indian Women's Assoc. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Bobby Isham, in 1967; 1 brother, Merle Davis, in 1996; her husband, Billy Wolfe, in 2004. She is survived by 8 children: Theodore Isham (Debra) of Okmulgee, Richard Glen Isham (Penny) of Holdenville, Jerome, Susan, Michael and David Isham and Luci Wolfe, all of Lamar, and Arlene Isham of Okemah; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Frank Davis of Lamar, Leo King of Tulsa; 1 sister, Sue Ann Davis of Lamar; 1 aunt, Cora Harjo of Sasakwa; 2 sisters-in-law: Nazzie Davis of Midwest City, Martha Yahola of Wewoka; numerous other relatives and many friends. Wake service will be Sun, May 28, 7:30 p.m. Funeral service Mon, May 29, 2006, 1:30 p.m. at Many Springs Indian Baptist Church S of Holdenville, with Rev. Jimmy Anderson and Rev. Eddie Lindsey officiating. Interment will be in the Lamar Cemetery.
