Joseph Clarence Norris, 92, went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, March 30, 2015.

He was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. Born in New Haven, KY, he was a former decorator for Aero Drapery Co, a Navy veteran of World War II aboard the USS New Jersey, a member of the Shepherdsville VFW Post # 5710, Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Katherine Norris.

Survivors include his children, Donna Meyers, Brenda Norris, Cheryl Mitchell, Becky Spaw (Stacy), and Kimberly McKnight ( Ronald); three grandchildren, Tracy Grosick (Dave), Jan Atkins (Jody), and Logan Spaw; four great-grandchildren, Natalie, Joseph and Jackson Grosick and Ava Atkins; sister Mary Alma O'Bryan and numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be 4 pm Saturday at St Paul Catholic Church 6901 Dixie Hwy, with burial at St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 pm to 8 pm Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
