Daughter of the late Thomas Frederick Dickert and Sallie Glymph Dickert, she was born December 27, 1883, in Lindale, Texas. The family moved to the Ashby and Simpsonville area in 1898, later moving to Palacios. She passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 6, in Wagner General Hospital where she had been confined the past nine weeks.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Legg of Palacios; two sons, Ray Dorsey of Edna and Donald "Dink" Dorsey of Freeport; four grandchildren and three great grandsons.
